REM 15AA All Star Game
The Sherwood Park Kings Athletic Club is pleased to host the
REM 15AA All Star Game in the New Year! All Kings players in attendance
are encouraged to show their support for our SPKAC players
who will be playing in the game by wearing their SPKAC jerseys.

The Sherwood Park Kings Athletic Club would like to
congratulate Midget AAA Kings alumni Mark Pysyk
who was selected for Canada's World Junior Team.
Mark was the only Albertan chosen to represent Canada!
Also selected was Brendan Gallagher, he started his
hockey career in Sherwood Park before he moved to B.C.

Congratulations to Midget AAA Kings Captain Tyler Morrison
on being selected as a first team all star for the AMHL All Star
Game being played on Feb 5th, 2012 at Bill Hunter Arena.

Midget AAA Kings in the News

for playing a leading role in baseline testing for concussions.

Important Hockey Canada Rule Change
Starting immediately this upcoming 2011/2012 hockey season,
Hockey Canada’s new head contact rule will be implemented to
cut down on the number of concussions and other serious
injuries suffered in the game. This new rule will be assessed
based on a zero tolerance policy for contact above the shoulders.
