ONLINE REGISTRATION

SPKAC utilizes TeamSnap for registration and team management in coordination with Sherwood Park Minor Hockey. This allows for an efficient and unified registration and communication process, along with easier player and team management.
Hockey Canada members are asked to create a Hockey Canada Spordle account. This is where you will be able to obtain your Hockey Canada ID, which will be required during the new registration process.

TeamSnap
If you don’t already have a TeamSnap account, you will need to create one. You will be prompted to do so when you click on the registration link. If you have previously registered with SPKAC or SPMHA in the last 2 years, the TeamSnap registration system will recognize you and pre-fill much of your registration info based on the player you are registering. Please double check that the information is still accurate for your player and fill in any missing information.

The process and registration forms for Resident, New Resident and Non-Resident players will differ, so please read through the sections below and follow the instructions based on your player’s resident status.

All questions may be directed to general.manager@spmha.ab.ca

2023-2024 FEES

There are no increases to fees this season over last.

Each athlete trying out for SPKAC will receive a reversable jersey they will use for their entire evaluation (athletes will keep this jersey when their tryout concludes).  Athletes will be responsible to launder and ensure these jerseys are at every evaluation skate.

*Volunteer Commitment – this charge is recoverable through working optional SPKAC fundraising initiatives such as concession, etc.

*Raffle Tickets – this charge is fully recoverable based on each family selling 25 tickets @ $10.00 per ticket

*U18 AA/AAA Male Divisions will have predominantly morning practices for the 2023-2024 season.
All morning practices are scheduled to end by 8:00am.

*Once the teams are announced, each team will have a parent meeting and a budget will be provided for team level expenses. At that time, the budget will be voted upon and the parent “cash call” amount will be determined for the season. This amount can be paid to the team in installments.
